Kinky Straight was created to resemble naturally textured hair that has been stretched, blow-dried, or lightly pressed without losing its original body and density. Rather than appearing silky or bone straight, the hair has a soft, slightly coarse texture with subtle bends and natural-looking fullness from root to end.

This texture has low to moderate shine and maintains a thick, blown-out appearance even when worn straight. When wet, the hair may reveal slight waves or texture, but once dried and stretched, it returns to its signature soft, full finish. It can be worn naturally blown out, pressed sleek, curled, crimped, braided, or styled into textured ponytails and updos.

Kinky Straight blends best with stretched Type 3 and Type 4 hair, blow-dried leave-out, lightly pressed natural hair, or relaxed hair with visible texture. Because of its density, this texture benefits from regular moisture, gentle detangling, heat protection, and proper nighttime wrapping.

Best suited for: Type 3 and Type 4 textures, stretched or blow-dried leave-out, natural-looking straight styles, and clients who want fullness without a silky finish.

Fullness recommendation: Three bundles provide standard fullness. For a very full or highly layered look, four to five bundles are recommended.
