In high school, I developed alopecia, and what started as small patches quickly became something that changed how I saw myself. Losing my hair at such a young age was more than physical, it was emotional. I remember looking in the mirror and not recognizing the girl staring back. It wasn’t just about the hair I lost, it was about the confidence that went with it.

But that moment of pain became the foundation for my purpose.

What began as trying to cover what I lost turned into discovering what I was meant to create. I started experimenting with wigs... not just to look good, but to feel whole again. And when I realized how much a good wig could change how I carried myself, I wanted to give other women that same feeling.

In March 2022, I launched AdaraStyles; a name that stands for resilience, beauty, and rebirth. What started in a small space with borrowed tools and late nights has grown into a full-fledged brand that empowers women everywhere to look like luxury, feel like confidence, and wear their crown with pride.

Through years of perfecting my craft, I learned that great hair isn’t just about appearance, it’s about identity, healing, and self-love. I wanted to eliminate the stress of cheap hair that sheds, tangles, and doesn’t last.
